I'm Summer

It is officially summer break for me. My first summer break that will last for less than 2 weeks. I have upcoming clinics which I’m psyched and scared all at the same time.

Being the first not-so summer break for me, I got to realize how time flew… It was actually McDonald’s TV ad tune that got me thinking bout this. HAHA. It was just like yesterday, as cliche as it may sound, when I was just playing at our patio with my Polly Pockets, Barbies, doctor set, Play-Doh, and all those other good stuff to keep me from boredom during the summer when I was a kid. I never really got to enjoy the street, since I was never allowed to go outside. All I got of a playmate was my cousin over the phone and sometimes, my younger sister when we’re not fighting. All my yayas hated me (except for two, which I considered as my 2nd parents) because I was a real brat. I used to physically hurt them. I know, it scares me, too, whenever I remember. Anyway, I was pretty happy and contented with that.

I still remember the scent of the wind plus the early sun when they hit the cilia of my nose every time I go to our patio to wait till Yayay (how I call my yaya whom I cherished as my 2nd mother, up till now) prepares my breakfast.. It was distinct and unforgettable, it always made me feel so happy and light. It was as early as those times when I started to appreciate the little precious things. I learned to become sentimental. I honestly can still remember my 6-year old thoughts. I swear. I remember thinking if the beautiful afternoons and mornings of my every summer will always be like that. Simple, quiet, and all about me. I didn’t grew as a very quiet person and a friendless freak, but I loved the feeling of being alone every summer. It wasn’t lonely. In fact, I was more than happy by myself, it was euphoria. I can’t say that I’m independent. But I think I can keep myself sane with or without people around. I was never sorry that I didn’t grow having playmates, or got into playing some sports (except that 1 week swimming classes that drowned me to death), or playing some kinda musical instruments. I was pretty happy dressing myself and talking to myself… Maybe that also figures why I’m into this fashion blogging craze. And unlike others, I don’t have regular readers, nor sponsors, or whatever. Blogging really isn’t my life. I do this because it became a hobby. Documenting part of me—my thoughts.

It’s crazy that it’s been 15 years since I realized how much I love summers. And I’m growing up now. Taking more responsibilities to help the society with its vast problems to fight poverty. HAHAHAHAHA! So yeah… summer starts for me now.

Quick update before ya'll think I'm dead

So, I’ll never get tired of telling you, guys, that I’m pretty busy with school. Well… Not that I’m pretty studious or anything, but I’m pretty jam packed with school hours. As you all know, I’m a sheltered kid. Or so I choose. I’m a person with no sense of direction, and when I say no, I mean none at all. So, my mom has to drop and fetch me to and from school (since our driver died and the succeeding drivers just didn’t give us justice in terms of service). And since she has work which is all the way to BGC, we have to go to school as early as 6am and I get fetched at 10ish in the evening. My school is literally my second home, but if you’ll consider time, then, maybe, it’s my primary home. Okay, sorry for giving lame excuses every other posts. HAHAHA.

So, to start…

Got the Best Statement Award in our Fellowship Night a few days back. Guess who I came to as? (Will post more pictures if ever I find them, haha)

Sooooooooo, I figured that I don’t have that much pictures to document… Kroo kroo…

Maybe next time. I just want all of you to know that I’m still alive and breathing… HAHAHAHA! Sorry, people.

First is I wanna thank you for the unconditional love, the efforts, the support, the care, the transparency, the fun, the wrestles, the food and things we share, the wishful dreams, the time, and everything else. I really, really appreciate all those. You literally always save my life. Second, I want you to know that you’re very, very special to me, and I treasure you so much.
